Introduction

If you're reading this, you're probably not a stranger because honestly I'm not that interesting. So, thank you for caring about me, I care about you too.

This won't be a cancer blog or an army-wife blog or a news and politics blog. As much as I'd like to box it up in a neat little package for you, I can't.

I was on the phone with my dad, talking about some personal struggles and he offered me some simple but profound (Randy-style) advice. "This will be a growing time for you."

I want to chronicle my experiences because I want to hold myself accountable to the lessons I've learned. And, if I can make someone else feel a little less lonely, there's nothing more I could ask for.
